I walk alone in a pit of darkness,
A place that fills me with anger and pain.
Every time I try to pull myself out,
I end up sinking in deeper.
I am here because of a black hole,
She pumped my heart full of anger,
Which made the darkness appear much better.
I tried to resist the seduction of the dark pit,
But ended up being sucked in.
Now I watch her chase my shadow,
From the bottom of this dark pit.
As I watch her I sink in deeper,
Being consumed with anger and pain.
Now I’ve given up trying to get out,
And I watch the world from a pit of darkness,
Living my life in solitude,
First by force but now by choice.
